PARKS
There are a lot of parks where lots and lots of (international) students go to to relax and to enjoy the natural environment. They are also a very good way to read, whether it is in your study book or not!
Even though London has a population of more the 7 million inhabitants. There is a vast range of parks for you to explore, like the most famous one called; Hyde Park This is the most prominent and famous London park.
The second London park that visitors almost regularly see is Green Park. This park is also home of the Queen who lives in the Buckingham Palace. You´ll find it´s hard to move during the weekend and to make a picture of the palace, as there is a huge amount of people quieing up outside of the gates. Next to the Green Park is the St. James's Park. Both the Green Park and St. James´s Park can be enjoyed a lot on Sunday´s as they´re closed to traffic then. St. James's Palace has originally been built on the site of a lepers` hospital. Charles I decided to spend his last night there on the last night before his execution.
